Our Philosophy

Ready to Learn has provided a progressive and holistic early childhood education for over 13 years. Our childcare is NAFCC Accredited and Level 4 on Paths To Quality with the State of Indiana (the highest qualification). The operator has a Bachelors in Art degree in Elementary Education. We understand that each child has unique needs and interests and thus provide the environment and tools your child needs to thrive to the best of their abilities.
When we expose children to different environments and various learning experiences, we allow them to explore their self-awareness and gain a sense of the world around them. Once they leave Ready to Learn Childcare, they’re fully prepared for the next stage of their young lives.

EDUCATIONAL LESSONS
Here For You
Your child will have creative art, alphabet and language activities, music and movement, hands on math and science, social activities, stories and games. Your child will also participate in activities related to alphabet letter, color, numbers and shapes. Watch for related activities to arrive home.
IMAGINATIVE PLAY
What You Need
Our Imaginative Play has been perfect for many families. Every child needs time to develop their imagination and their own play-style. While much of the day is focused on education and learning, it is important to allow free play to stimulate their minds and imagination. If you have specific questions about day-to-day activities or the program timeline, simply get in touch as we are happy to help.
OUTDOOR PLAY
A Perfect Fit
Our program integrates Outdoor Play into our schedule when weather permits. We have a fully functional play area with climbing equipment, slides, sandbox, swings and outdoor toys. No matter what your child needs, each of our programs will provide the support and tools necessary for optimal growth.

Quality Child Care and Kindergarten Preparation
My philosophy is that children learn best through interacting with their environment and I strive to present activities with that in mind. The curriculum will base on current research and sound educational theories of early childhood learning and development. I will provide a wide range of hands on, interactive materials allowing children to experiment and explore their surroundings. The projects will stimulate creativity and build a positive self-image in each child as well as encourage involvement of family members in each child’s learning.
We believe that children thrive in an environment which values their own uniqueness, while providing support and opportunities to grow emotionally, socially and creatively. By building on each child’s strengths, interests and curiosities, we guide each child to explore the world around them as well as develop new abilities and form close relationships.
